Resumen

 


Este artículo muestra que la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial (RSE) es un campo de estudio dentro de la disciplina de la administración (management) que evoluciona en una forma “progresiva” orientada por la racionalidad experimental. Primero se rastrean los artículos seminales sobre la RSE dentro del management y los surveys sobre la evolución, el origen y las consecuencias de la RSE; luego se revisa la bibliografía de los artículos sobre RSE publicados en revistas académicas de alto impacto. El análisis bibliográfico indica que la RSE se ha convertido efectivamente en un campo de estudio específico que ha evolucionado de lo normativo a lo positivo y experimental.
