Resumen

Este artículo analiza las actitudes de los consumidores ante la falta de responsabilidad social empresarial según el género y la edad. El marco teórico establece el vínculo entre el consumidor y la responsabilidad social. En el estudio empírico se usan tablas de contingencia para probar si en el nivel de exigencia de los consumidores influyen el género y la edad. Las pruebas estadísticas identifican actitudes diferentes ante la falta de RSC de las empresas y los resultados indican que la mujer adulta actúa toma en forma más decidida contra las empresas que no son socialmente responsables.
