Este artículo ilustra la transición teórica en el análisis de las fuentes internas deventaja competitiva. Se emplea un enfoque teórico centrado en los procesosque hacen posible que las empresas mantengan y mejoren su competitividad,se adapten a los cambios y anticipen cambios en los mercados. Este trabajomuestra la naturaleza ecléctica de las capacidades dinámicas, las cuales introducenelementos dinámicos en teorías de carácter estático y corrigen lossesgos de esos dos enfoques a nivel teórico y en la praxis gerencial. El análisisse ocupa de los procesos de generación, desarrollo y modificación de los re cursosoperacionales. Las capacidades dinámicas ayudan a generar ingresosmás altos y a potencializar la innovación y el desarrollo estratégico.
