Abstract
El presente artículo presenta una revisión crítica de algunos lineamientos conceptuales que han abordadola naturaleza de la interacción campesinos-ecosistemas. Tal necesidad surge de la constatación deque el espacio rural, y en particular la población campesina que lo habita, experimenta actualmente unaresignificación sociopolítica a partir de la revalorización de los servicios ecosistémicos frente a la problemáticade la crisis ambiental planetaria. Tal cuestión hace necesario no sólo deconstruir ciertos lineamientosclásicos que han explicado la problemática, sino también analizar los nuevos significadosatribuidos por diversos actores a esta interacción. A partir del marco conceptual de la sociología críticay la ecología política se proponen los conceptos de solidaridad ecosocial y de proyecto ecosocial para darcuenta de la lógica que orienta las prácticas campesinas en relación a los servicios ecosistémicos.
