Abstract
Arab and Jewish inmigrants in Latin America have played an important role in the history of the past two centuries given that their presence has contributed to the economic development of many countries and established the bases for modernization during the second half of the nineteenth century. In the Colombian case, the integration of these two groups within society can be seen as successful.
