Perfiles de bienestar subjetivo de los jóvenes en la calle: un análisis longitudinal basado en clúster

Resumen
Este studio caracterizó prospectivamente perfiles del bienestar subjetivo (BS; satisfacción de vida, afecto positivo y negativo) de jóvenes en la calle, verificando cómo diferentes grupos difieren en las variables sociodemográficas (e.g., edad, sexo, intensidad de contacto con la familia y la calle), eventos estresantes (número y impacto) y comportamiento de riesgo para la salud (i.e., suicidio, riesgo sexual, uso de drogas). Los participantes fueron 104 jóvenes (M = 14,22 años, DE = 2,4), de tres capitales brasileñas, la mayoría (82%) eran hombres. El análisis de cluster identificó tres grupos: BS medio (n = 56); BS positivo (n = 21); BS y negativo (n = 27). SB positivo se compone de jóvenes con niveles más bajos de comportamiento de riesgo y lazos familiares más fuertes. Los resultados corroboraron estudios previos que identificaron el BS como un importante indicador de salud, enfatizando la importancia de promover el BS con miras a reducir los riesgos que minan el desarrollo.
