This text describes the esperience of an interdisciplinary conference thattook place in the Javeriana University. Its basic charaeteristics, the mannerin which the epistemological dimension is dealt with, and the nature ofinterdisciplinary work are emphasized. In the conclusion, somo suggestionsare given for educational and research work in the University.
