Abstract
Este ensayo en una aportación teórica cuyo objetivo es dar una aproximación al estado del arte del uso de las aguas residuales en la agricultura, como una práctica que se está intensificando en la reconfiguración territorial del espacio mexicano; se valora un conjunto de elementos que parten de la vinculación rural/urbano y se extienden al campo. Se concluye que como parte de la actual crisis del modo de producción capitalista, se vislumbra una práctica agrícola, que tiene un sostenido crecimiento con previsibles consecuencias negativas para el ser humano y para el medio ambiente y en un marco más amplio compromete la sustentabilidad de las ciudades.Ambiente y Desarrollo is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
