Abstract

En este artículo se muestran los procesos de poblamiento e invasión que ha sufrido la selva de los Chimalapas ubicada en Oaxaca, México. Asimismo se abordan las estrategias que han utilizado los indígenas zoques en la defensa de su territorio. También se analiza la importancia de la organización comunitaria y la asamblea, en la lucha por la tierra.
