Abstract

El fomento del compromiso ambiental universitario institucional hace de la
educación centrada en el entorno y en los recursos naturales, un elemento vital
para el crecimiento y desarrollo de los programas académicos superiores. Sin
embargo, la gestión de una política sostenible en las instituciones de educación
superior involucra múltiples desafíos. Este artículo analiza el caso de la Sede
Bogotá de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, dados su tamaño, importancia,
posicionamiento estratégico, y puesto que es la primera institución de educación
superior de Colombia en destacarse en el ranking UI Green Metric. Así pues, el
estudio se efectúa a partir de la evaluación de diversos rankings universitarios, en
especial el ranking UI Green Metric
