Abstract
El objetivo del artículo es evidenciar cómo diferentes actores y movimientos sociales utilizan elementos de gobernanza ambiental para hacer sentir su voz con respecto a la acción estatal y sus políticas públicas en Colombia. La metodología utilizada es la cualitativa y como técnicas de análisis de información se utilizan la revisión documental y el análisis documental. Como hallazgos se resalta que los actores sociales utilizan herramientas de concertación y negociación para mostrar que en el país hay interés por el fortalecimiento de la gobernanza. Es fundamental que el Estado brinde los mecanismos tanto para el fortalecimiento de la institucionalidad como para involucrar a la sociedad civil en la toma de decisiones concernientes al hábitat y los recursos naturales con que cohabitan en sus localidades.Ambiente y Desarrollo is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
