Abstract
El presente artículo muestra la importancia de la aplicación conjunta del enfoque bottom-up y las actividades de control de calidad (CC) en la estimación de los inventarios de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI). Se realizó el inventario de emisiones de GEI del sector de procesos industriales en el estado mexicano de San Luis Potosí, de acuerdo con la metodología del IPCC. La estimación se realizó primero siguiendo un enfoque top-down, resultando en 123 820 391 tonCO2. Posteriormente se aplicó el enfoque bottom-up con el CC; las emisiones fueron 44 948 012. Finalmente, se plantea una secuencia lógica que conviene seguir en las actividades de CC, para el caso específico en que los datos provienen de bases gubernamentales que concentran la información de las empresas.Ambiente y Desarrollo is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
