Abstract
El presente artículo muestra los resultados más importantes de una investigación sobrelas dinámicas sociodemográficas y económicas en la Comarca española de Guadix.Los autores hacen hincapié en la necesidad de incidir en políticas de desarrollo ruralmás adecuadas y efectivas para esta zona rural en declive. Ello porque si bien desdehace tiempo se están ideando y ejecutando acciones encaminadas a conseguirdicho desarrollo, las pérdidas demográficas siguen siendo significativas; sobre todo,de los efectivos poblacionales más jóvenes. Sin embargo, debido a su localizacióngeográfica y a la calidad de sus cuantiosos recursos socioculturales y naturales,estamos ante un territorio sostenible social y ambientalmente, en el que ademástales recursos constituyen factores potenciales de desarrollo socioeconómico.Ambiente y Desarrollo is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
