Abstract
El presente estudio es el resultado de una investigación sistemática en seis bases de datos de publicaciones académicas: Ebsco Host Academic, ProQuest, ScienceDirect, ISI Web of Science, JSTOR y BioOne. Se implementaron 16 criterios de búsqueda para los cuales se utilizó el operador booleano AND entre palabras clave como Coffee, crops, plantations, biodiversity, landscape, Agroforestry, invasive species, fragmentation. El objetivo del estudió fue describir de manera sintética el impacto de los sistemas de producción de café sobre el paisaje y la biodiversidad, incluyendo la introducción de especies exóticas invasivas, a nivel global y específico en Colombia. Los resultados permiten constatar que el efecto de la transformación del paisaje actúa como una reacción en cadena, la suma de los impactos locales logran alterar la biodiversidad a nivel global, los procesos ecológicos y climáticos, como también el ámbito socioeconómico, así mismo, se destacaron los beneficios del café con sombrío en la conservación de especies de flora y fauna nativas, ya que presenta características similares a las de los bosques que aún no han sido intervenidos por el hombre.Ambiente y Desarrollo is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
