Abstract
La ponencia tiene como objetivo discutir el alcance de la participación ciudadana en los proyectos de renovación urbana que se están llevando a cabo en la ciudad de Bogotá, identificando diferentes posiciones e intereses por parte de los actores que intervienen en el proceso. Para este fin se revisarán, analizarán y contrastarán las siguientes dos fuentes: la primera se refiere a normas y conceptos jurídicos relacionados con el tema; la segunda se refiere a aportes ciudadanos que la Dirección de Patrimonio y Renovación Urbana de la Secretaría Distrital de Planeación ha sistematizado, producto de las convocatorias públicas y derechos de petición, entre otras fuentes, a través de las cuales la ciudadanía comunica y expresa sus planteamiento en torno a la renovación urbana. Con esta ponencia se espera contribuir a la discusión sobre participación ciudadana en temas relacionados con planificación de la ciudad y la manera como inciden los agentes estatales, propietarios del suelo e inversionistas en la gestión del suelo en proyectos de renovación urbana.
