Abstract
La presente investigación apunta hacia la valoración de la región momposina, mediante la identificación de los recursos naturales y culturales con significado para las comunidades; el reconocimiento de los lugares que preservan la memoria y anclan las tradiciones; la identificación de las prácticas culturales y las maneras como han transformado el medio; la caracterización de las formas de interacción entre el centro histórico y el territorio; y la formulación de acciones para el manejo del ecosistema cultural.
Esta propuesta que articula el patrimonio y el entorno, tiene como fin valorar el significado cultural de Mompox como base a procesos de planificación que garanticen su sostenibilidad.
