Abstract
Partiendo del campo de referencia de la Geografía del Medio Ambiente (Bertrand & Bertrand, 2006) se plantea una discusión sobre las consecuencias socio-espaciales y paisajísticas de las decisiones normativas relacionadas a la minería de agregados pétreos, en particular a partir de la implementación de la Res.1197 de 2004, en el marco del concepto de justicia espacial.
Se presentan los resultados de un ejercicio de análisis geográfico integrado: biofísico, socio-económico y cultural, realizado a partir de un método mixto cuantitativo y cualitativo apoyado en la producción de cartografía temática, modelamiento espacial, coremas, matrices comparativas de datos alfanuméricos, documentación bibliográfica, cartográfica y fotográfica.
