Abstract
La sostenibilidad considerada hoy en día en uno de los principales retos de la sociedad, no ha sido posible debido a que se han implementado un modelo de desarrollo “socio-tecnológico”, que fomenta la desorganización de los ecosistemas naturales, ocasionando un incremento de la “entropía”, del ecosistema natural. De cara a este reto el trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar como las dinámicas poblacionales como eje articulador de los procesos de desarrollo soportados en un territorio específico, permiten pensar y articular el proceso de planeación social, económica y ambiental en la localidad de Puente Aranda para contribuir al mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de la población.
