Abstract
Con base en los estudios de la producción de indicadores presentamos la discusión al respecto de la influencia política y social de los indicadores base utilizados en la puesta en marcha de los objetivos del "Ministério das Cidades" en Brasil, o sea, la implementación del "Estatuto da Cidade", legislación no 10257/01 que trata de la función social de la propiedad privada.
Este estudio tiene por finalidad discutir críticamente la burocracia en torno a los Planes de Vivienda Interés Social (PLHIS) , la inadecuación de los indicadores y su influencia sobre los formatos de concesión de crédito para el subsidio a la vivienda.
Se pretende abordar de modo cualitativo, los formatos de alimentación de los bancos de datos obteniendo un panorama de la recolección de indicadores destinados a los análisis de vivienda social y discutir las bases para mejoramiento de los procedimientos técnicos para el acceso a la vivienda en Brasil.
