Abstract
El presente trabajo, de carácter exploratorio, se enmarca en las actividades del proyecto de investigación "La nueva cuestión urbana en el AMBA. Conflictos, demandas y acción pública en torno al hábitat" llevado adelante por Infohábitat, equipo interdisciplinario que realiza tareas de investigación y acción con la comunidad en temáticas relacionadas al hábitat popular urbano. Este proyecto propone analizar la cuestión urbana a la luz de la experiencia del Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires, donde se está visualizando un territorio de transformaciones estructurales y de nuevas conflictividades, en el cual el Estado se articula con diferentes actores, configurando una trama territorial de procesos urbanos complejos y contradictorios.
