Abstract
Con el término “agriculturización” y “sojización”, se han caracterizado en Argentina, a los procesos técnicos, económicos y sociales, desencadenados por la expansión de la agricultura anual, centrada en la producción de soja. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar el impacto socioeconómico de esta expansión, comparando los resultados obtenidos en distintos contextos. Uno en el que se verificó la intensificación de la producción capitalista (región pampeana) y otro en el que predominó la expansión agrícola, con un corrimiento de la frontera agropecuaria (regiones extra pampeanas). Nuestras reflexiones se orientan a mostrar una imagen menos homogénea de las consecuencias de la expansión. Más allá de analizar los beneficios del aumento de las exportaciones para el país en su conjunto, es discutible que el proceso haya generado desarrollo local. Si algún beneficio generó, éste no fue para la mayor parte de los actores de territorios extra pampeanos.Cuadernos de Desarrollo Ruralis registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
