Abstract
Los procesos de intervención parecieran sufrir por una reiterada pretensión por inducir eincluso forzar a los seres humanos a acoplarse al tren de la modernidad, entendida ésta comola etapa evolutiva más avanzada de una sociedad; similar a la alcanzada por los paísesdesarrollados económicamente. Este trabajo argumenta sobre la necesidad de que estosprocesos adopten estrategias afines con el relativismo cultural, que considera a los distintosmundos de vida como una diversidad social, sin tratar de colocarlos en una secuencia evolutiva.Este cambio probablemente les permitiría salir mejor librados, tanto en los escenarios dondeinciden los agentes de cambio, como de la crítica académica. Lo anterior debiera implicar elrepensar estrategias de acompañamiento para agentes de cambio que coadyuvan con losactores sociales, para que estos actores vayan reflexionando y entreverando todo aquello quellegue desde fuera de acuerdo con su historicidad, subjetividad constituyente y mundo de vida.Este proceso de sincretismo siempre se ha dado debido a la interacción social, así como a losmedios de comunicación masiva.Cuadernos de Desarrollo Ruralis registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
