Abstract
El objetivo de este artículo es analizar el potencial innovador de la intercooperación entre pequeñas organizaciones de la economía social y solidaria, mediante el estudio de un caso, el de una organización cooperativa de segundo grado, multisectorial, ubicada en la región centrooccidental de Venezuela. El artículo explora las diferentes dimensiones presentes en el caso estudiado: económicas, sociales, políticas e ideológicas. Se argumenta que la experiencia analizada encierra importantes innovaciones, que ilustran el potencial de las organizaciones de la economía social para combinar el desarrollo económico y el desarrollo social, la adaptación a la economía de mercado y la transformación de las relaciones entre los agentes económicos.
