Abstract
La Reforma Agraria (RA) en Colombia es un tema estratégico para la solución de diversas problemáticas que afectan al país desde hace años, como son la violencia en el campo, el desplazamiento forzado, el desempleo, la pobreza y el narcotráfico. En esta investigación se caracteriza el proceso histórico de la RA, examinando la evolución del concepto en sus diferentes períodos, y se establece el nuevo enfoque que ésta aborda. El análisis realizado muestra la existencia de once períodos históricos (desde el año 1200 hasta la actualidad) y la evolución de la RA, desde un enfoque simple y unilateral, en el que sólo se abordaba el tema de la propiedad de la tierra, hacia un enfoque integral que tiene en cuenta la articulación del tema agrario al contexto social, económico y político, a través de la planificación de propuestas que integran otros aspectos como la satisfacción de necesidades básicas, el acceso al crédito, la asistencia técnica y empresarial, la asociatividad y la participación en la toma de decisiones.Cuadernos de Desarrollo Ruralis registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
