Abstract
El estudio realizado tuvo como objetivo conocer lapresencia de la microempresa en la zona fiquera deSantander y determinar algunas de sus característicaslaborales. financieras y patrimoniales en el marco delprograma de Convenio FAOIFIDA. de Apoyo a laMicroempresa Rural en Colombia. Un resultado importantefue el detectar 193 unidades empresariales enuna zona deprimida que cobijó tres municipios deldepartamento de Santander.
