Abstract
Los autores abordan la irrelevancia de categorías teóricas macroeconómicas sobre los estudios de economía campesina, haciendo énfasis en la importancia macroeconómica y variables de tipo social y cultural inherentes a la misma.La intervención del Estado al interior del sector agro pecuario es implícitamente un cuestionamiento a la teoría de la redistribución de los factores productivos a través de las productividades marginales, pero no se orienta a buscar una redistribución del ingreso y la riqueza para afectar la dualidad descrita anteriormente. Tampoco corrige las causas estructurales que origina esa falta de correspondencia del sector agrario frente a las necesidades y demandas de los demás componentes del sistema económico
