Abstract
En la agricultura, la incertidumbre es el estado característico en el que los cultivadores toman sus decisiones. En este artículo se estiman las actitudes hacia el riesgo en los pequeños productores de piña del departamento de Santander, Colombia. Para ello se tomó una muestra aleatoria de 194 pequeños productores de piña en los municipios de Girón, Lebrija y Rionegro. Con el fin de determinar las actitudes hacia el riesgo se emplea el enfoque utilidad media-desviación estándar no lineal. Los resultados indican que los pequeños productores de piña de Santander son aversos al riesgo y muestran una aversión absoluta creciente y una aversión relativa decreciente.Cuadernos de Desarrollo Ruralis registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
