Abstract
El crédito es uno de los principales factores que influye en la inversión, lo cual deriva en un mayor crecimiento y en el aumento de la productividad del sector agropecuario. Sin embargo, la disponibilidad de recursos en el mercado crediticio en México es escasa, pues las bancas de desarrollo y comercial no lo consideran una prioridad. Los resultados del modelo econométrico aplicado en esta investigación indican que factores como la asociación de los productores, superficie de las unidades de producción, el nivel de educación, los subsidios, características sociales del productor y la capacitación que reciben los productores, influyen en la posibilidad de acceder al mercado crediticio.
