Resumo

A partir de una encuesta estructurada, se analiza la satisfacción laboral con perspectiva de género de propietario/as y gerente/as de los alojamientos turísticos del Parque Natural Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche, así como sus motivos para emprender en este tipo de negocios. Los objetivos están relacionados con determinar el grado de satisfacción laboral de las personas propietarias y las diferencias de género, así como establecer las razones que los llevan a emprender en turismo rural.  Los principales hallazgos apuntan a que el tipo de alojamiento rural mayoritario es la vivienda turística, que genera rendimientos de capital inmobiliario.  Sin embargo, las mujeres, respecto a los varones, gestionan una mayor proporción de casas rurales y establecimientos hoteleros. Asimismo, el alojamiento rural no es la principal fuente de ingresos en la mayoría de los casos, configurándose como un complemento a otras fuentes principales de ingresos. En cuanto a formación, las personas encuestadas, tanto varones como mujeres, poseen un nivel muy alto de cualificación, encontrando un alto porcentaje con estudios universitarios. Para finalizar, estas personas están altamente satisfechos/as con la actividad que realizan en relación al turismo rural, excepto cuando está su familia implicada en la gestión.
