Abstract
Este artículo está basado en dos procesos investigativos realizados con la Asociación de Mujeres Organizadasde Yolombó (AMOY), localizada en una zona rural colombiana impactada por el conflicto armado, el cualha ocasionado escasez y altos precios de los alimentos, entre muchos otros efectos. Se utilizó una metodologíacualitativa con el objetivo de analizar los vínculos entre género y preservación de los medios de vida. Seencontró que las mujeres se han posicionado como productoras, pero ello tiende a despolitizarse, dado quesu trabajo se percibe como una extensión de su rol de cuidadoras, lo que obstaculiza el logro de mayorestransformaciones sociales en cuanto a la consecución de la igualdad de géneroCuadernos de Desarrollo Ruralis registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
