Abstract
El presente artículo nos muestra una visión integral y critica sobre el desarrollo de losseguros en el continente Europeo, sus características, tendencias y retos, al igualque su dimensión pública y privada. Expone que los principios europeos del contratode seguro son una posible respuesta a la rigidez de los ordenamientos nacionales todavez que las fronteras se diluyen y el tráfico jurídico económico se hace más global.Estos principios se configuran como un instrumento compacto, íntegro y opcionalque busca implementar las relaciones de seguro en todo el espacio europeo y queharían posible que las entidades aseguradoras proporcionasen sus servicios en todo elmercado interior, basándose en normas uniformes que establecen un elevado estándarde protección para el tomador del seguro.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
