Abstract

This article shows in brief comments, a large statistical sample of the various
systems to insure victims in traffic accidents in different countries. Based on data
collection done by the International Association of Insurance Law (AIDA) for the
past 10 years, this paper shows the different coverage in motor third party liability
insurance, charges, financial compensation limits, management of guarantee funds
and the state supervision over the insurance industry in this field in over 160
countries in the world.
