Abstract

This commentary examines the Judgment of the Fifth Chamber of the CJEU 12 October 2023 ruling on the reference for a preliminary ruling made to the CJEU by the Belgian Court of Cassation concerning the interpretation of Article 1.1, on the concept of vehicle of Directive 2009/103/EC declaring the exclusion of pedal-assisted bicycles from its scope.
