Abstract
Introduction: a great effort has been made in the field of graduations in the health area to reorient professional training in order to meet the real health needs of the population, with a view to achieving a more humanized and developed training with the inclusion of different teaching methods. -learning. Objective: to identify in the scientific literature the actions of interprofessional education in the context of undergraduate health courses developed in Brazil. Method: this is an integrative literature review constituted from a search carried out in seven informational resources and which resulted in a total sample of 20 articles analyzed in a descriptive way and from the Content Analysis. Results: the information extracted from the analyzed articles could be organized into three themes: the benefits of integrating disciplines and different professions; the operationalization of pedagogical strategies aimed at achieving interprofessionality; challenges for the integration of courses and professions. Final considerations: it was identified that interprofessional education allows the transformation of teaching in the health area, generating a rupture of the traditional paradigms that permeate the fields of health and education, providing opportunities for the integration between knowledge and training fields.
