Abstract

The nursing attention process, as a fundamental tool, to give quality care to the patient, the family and the community; it's underpinned in scientific bases that allows to identify the health state of the patient, his or her really needs of problems or risks (real or potential problems) and provide the specific nursing care to solve the problems or needs identified during the application of the valuation (assessment) guide by functional patterns of health of Marjory Gordon. Nursing care, requires an organized and systematic process of: valuation (assessment), diganostic (diagnosis), planning execution an evaluation; each one is described in the curriculum in a transversal way the teaching of the nursing attention process (PAE) as an ideal methodology, used during the student formation process and applied in real and risky situations, giving as a result: quality information, whit self and useful criterion, seen in the patient rehabilitation process, in the same way that it allows to the nursery professional, work in an structured way in his daily job development and for the teacher to guide and direct the teaching process-learning in a personalized and humanized way.
