Abstract

International environmental law is a young juridical order characterized by its fast configuration and by its multiple rules and institutions. Its vanguard position behind the classical theory of international law and the voluntarism positivism, allows it be in the middle of the most actual international law debates.

This study pretends to analyze the innovations of this legal order by explaining how its vigour and disarticulation, generated by the legal and institutional profusion, are essential objects in the discussion of environmental law efficiency.
