Abstract
The Regulation 1347/2000 supposed the first procedural community regulation as for demands of judicial separation, divorce and nullity of the marriage. The increasing number of mixed marriages, and the consistent increase of international separations, has fomented the intrinsic importance of the Regulation. The most relevant, and most polemic aspect, in the study of the above mentioned norm it is his area of application.
