Abstract
This paper introduces, in general way, the form and expression of art criticism with respect to photography, to allow for an understanding of some points of view from the perspective of artistic tradition, to the esthetic, to innovate forms that have fed its transition, the abrupt changes and the artistic avant-garde at each moment of the development of Mexican photography. This collection is miscellaneous, but establishes some of the expressions of the fotofóbicas and fotofílicas that created the roots which allowed for the consolidation and growth of Mexican photographyThe journal Memoria y Sociedad is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License. Thus, this work may be reproduced, distributed, and publicly shared in digital format, as long as the names of the authors and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana are acknowledged. Others are allowed to quote, adapt, transform, auto-archive, republish, and create based on this material, for any purpose (even commercial ones), provided the authorship is duly acknowledged, a link to the original work is provided, and it is specified if changes have been made.
