Abstract

This article studies Ricardo Gomez Campusano´s artistic life in the early 20th Century. He is one of the most relevant artists in Colombia environment but at the same time, he is one of the most unknown artists. His artistic production was very important in his epoch but some decades later he was forgotten by specialist in arts, and even by Colombian artistic historiography. In this way, this text will analyze how it was seen by artistic critics Gomez Campusano´s production, moreover, which was his impact in the Colombian artistic tendencies in the first decades of 20th century.
