Abstract
This paper covers neogranadin university pensums between XVIII and XIX centuries, displaying consecutive canons on sciences adopted for the creation in the Faculty of Philosophy as the
beginning of university education. The peripatetic, Wolffian, sensualist, Balmesian, spiritual, positivist and neothomist canons are identifies and analyzed until evidencing their mutual continuities and epistemic divergences, revealing common conceptual matrixes in the education of liberal, conservative, catholic and secular men of letters.
