Resumen

El principal objetivo de este trabajo radica en analizar el cambio de paradigma para evaluar la sostenibilidad medioambiental desde la perspectiva de la civilización ecológica en China. Con este fin, se realizó un estudio de caso de Guizhou, una de las provincias con mayor índice de pobreza y menor urbanización del país. El marco teórico que sustenta este análisis se basa en la teoría sociológica de la sociedad del riesgo de Beck (2000, 2010, 2011) y las discusiones sobre la transformación reciente del concepto de la civilización ecológica china (Pan, 2016; Zhang, 2021; Weins et al., 2023). La investigación cumple fines exploratorios y adopta el estudio y la selección bibliográfica y documental para la comprensión del tema y del estudio de caso. Los primeros resultados indican que los indicadores y herramientas de evaluación de la civilización ecológica en la provincia tienen un enfoque más cualitativo que cuantitativo, combinado con metodologías de medición de datos ampliamente adoptadas, como los métodos de decisión multicriterio Fuzzy, TOPSIS y AHP. El estudio apunta caminos alternativos en el debate sobre sostenibilidad.
