Papel Político is an annual online scientific journal with continuous publication focused on studies in Political Science, International Relations, and related disciplines. It is aimed at academics and professionals who wish to disseminate their research. The journal publishes original articles that contribute from different epistemological, theoretical, and methodological approaches to the reflection, understanding, analysis, debate, and dissemination of various theoretical, historical, and current issues in the aforementioned fields of social sciences.

The journal enjoys wide circulation throughout the Ibero-American region and follows an open access policy, providing immediate and free access to its content. This is based on the belief that making research available to the public contributes to greater knowledge exchange. The journal does not charge for article processing or publication (no APC) nor does it impose embargo periods on authors.
