Abstract
Este artículo presenta algunos resultados de la investigación del autor sobre los asesinos en la prensa colombiana de los años ochenta. En esta ocasión mira particularmente el tratamiento que los diarios le dan a los niños involucrados en crímenes, donde son presentados principalmente como víctimas. Pero no mayoritariamente como victimas enteramente inocentes y sin ninguna relación con el autor, sino como víctimas determinadas, implicadas en una situación de violencia que rodea su vida y la de los suyos. Los niños son víctimas de sus propios padres, bien porque los agraden directamente o bien porque son arrastrados en la violencia que ataca a sus padres o mayores. El artículo analiza como el relato de la prensa se centra en el asesino y en los hechos, y la victima es apenas un punto de referencia sentimental matizado con un tono tremendista de alarma social.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
