Abstract
En las comunidades modernas la prensa se ha convertido en una instancia privilegiada para hacer circular sobre el ecenario de lo público, imaginarios compartidos por diversos grupos, generando procesos de adhesión o de rechazo que resultan vitales para entender los sentidos que construyen o disgregan el tejido social, Sin embargo, las relaciones del Periodismo con las diciplinas científicas han sido difíciles y en este sentido, el autor presenta en este artículo algunos elementos conceptuales que permiten una aproximación diferente y más prometedora al material periodístico en su búsqueda de los sutiles resortes que guían la vivencia de sociedades humanas.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
