Abstract
En los últimos años se ha venido desarrollando un interés especial por las “culturas populares” desde una perspectiva que no se ancua necesariamente en la Antropología. Por otra parte, se empieza a ordenar una aproximación novedosa al estudio de lo urbano desde una perspectiva antropológica, aunque no necesariamente dentro de la ortodoxia de la investigación etnológica. En otra coyuntura de los estudios sociales, desde hace veinte años se ha venido constituyendo un área interdisciplinaria con refrescantes perspectivas de renovación del discurso y la práctica científicas, la comunicación social ocupa hoy un lugar importante en el mundo editorial y político de la investigación social. Estas tres formaciones teóricas-sociales pueden ser concebidas como maneras distintas y complementarias de aproximación a la organización social, siendo este el asunto central del trabajo teórico práctica en ciencias sociales el día de hoy. Es en esta perspectiva como las tres pueden ser relacionadas con cierta facilidad. Sobre todo cuando de piensa en el verdadero problema nuclear de la organización de nuestro sistema de vida occidental, la formación urbana, la ciudad.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
