Abstract
This paper presents the results of my Master’s Thesis entitled “Representations of Public Space: Citizenship and Political Culture in the First Peronist government”. In general terms, I address the articulation of politics and communication, considering the public space as a matter for primary analysis. To do so, we analyze the news events Sucesos Argentinos, which were shown between films in cinemas. Thus, I will first address the main analysis items: public space, citizenship, culture and political representation. Then, I will present the research questions and methodological approach, and finally some of the main conclusions.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License. Thus, this work may be reproduced, distributed, and publicly shared in digital format, as long as the names of the authors and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana are acknowledged.
