Abstract
This interview was conducted on June 19, 2006, at a coffee bar in West Hampstead (the London borough where Massey lives), by Patria Román Velázquez and Alejandra García Vargas, in order to divulge and discuss the main points of her intellectual production, since in spite of its depth, expanse, and analytical potential vis-à-vis contemporary Latin American problems and topics, her work has only recently been translated into Spanish, and moreover, her work is less known in Argentina than in any other of the continent’s countries. The delay in its publication is due to the fact that Doreen Massey personally examined and made comments and suggestions related to the original first draft in English.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License. Thus, this work may be reproduced, distributed, and publicly shared in digital format, as long as the names of the authors and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana are acknowledged. Others are allowed to quote, adapt, transform, auto-archive, republish, and create based on this material, for any purpose (even commercial ones), provided the authorship is duly acknowledged, a link to the original work is provided, and it is specified if changes have been made.
