Abstract

This paper gathers the main thoughts around an investigation, which goal was to determine the conditions for constructing web narratives related with local topics shaped like hypermedia. The analysis was made throughout a study of case which includes an academic exercise of creation involving students of Sociology from Nacional University and those students of Industrial Design from Universidad Javeriana, taking the Digital Design workshop coordinated by adac, an Architecture and Design Faculty unit of Javeriana University. The results of this analysis suggests what it is lacking for being done and the challenges that different actors, such as the academy, have in order to use digital technologies in an effective way, as part of their responsibility for responding to the challenges that the digital era imposes.
