Abstract

The construction of collegiate and synodal structures after the Council has been developed in an unsteady way. The topic reflects basic discussions and it allows us to be aware of the core orientations in the recent ecclesiology. The article shows the main moments in the historical development, it attempts to describe the new situations we are already living, it points out the arguments that are at stake, it individualizes the main ideas to go in depth and, finally, it suggests some recommendations.
