Abstract

Spirituality is not a static reality, neither it is alien to the problems that women and men use to live in their
historicity; on the contrary, spirituality emerges in the historical events as consequence of submissiveness to the Spirit’s action, which that configures a particular way of existence. This text attempts to give the reason of this historical and incarnated way of understanding spirituality, considering the theological thought of Ignacio Ellacuría.
